Ricardo Santa Cruz has more than two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, real estate developer, innovator, investor and business leader in Mexico. Early in his career, Santa Cruz founded a joint venture with a U.S. medical supply company American Healthcare Products where he remains President.
Turning his focus to land acquisition and real estate development in Mexico, with his company RSC Development, Santa Cruz became Development Partner of the soon to be announced Xala project. A 3,000 acre development project along the Pacific Coast of Mexico just south of Puerto Vallarta. As Founder, President and CEO of RSC Development, he was the lead negotiator in fundraising efforts that resulted in securing USD $90 million of investment for the Xala project where he also negotiated and acquired the 3,000 acres from 65 different families.
Ricardo is a shareholder of RLH Properties and Chief of Business Development in its highly anticipated Mandarina project. He has been involved in all aspects of the development from negotiating the land acquisition from 55 different families to now overseeing all commercial aspects of the project.
Santa Cruz is a member of YPO, serves on the advisory board of The Future of Latin America Foundation, which has a goal of creating a new technology hub for U.S. companies in Puerto Vallarta. Of great importance to Santa Cruz is the foundation, which he established to support the communities adjacent to the projects RSC Development is involved with to ensure they benefit from all aspects and opportunities that will come to the region. Santa Cruz has a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder and completed the AD2 program from the IPADE Business School. Both a U.S. and Mexican citizen, Santa Cruz is not only fluent in English and Spanish, but truly bicultural.
